SUMMARY
Reka never imagined that one harsh comment would make him wake up inside the very novel he had just insulted. At thirty-one, after losing his job and any sense of direction in life, Reka spent three months finishing a fantasy novel with 5,296 chapters. At the end of the story, a strange question appeared and offered him the chance to live a happier life. Reka answered it with a curse and went to sleep. When he opened his eyes again, he had become Zeldryn Giorry, the son of a powerful noble family. Was this a second chance? Maybe. Remastered Edition The story, characters, events, worldbuilding, and overall direction remain unchanged. The prose has been rewritten and polished into a more conventional novel format with better flow, clarity, sentence structure, and readability. What You Can Expect : A seriously slow-burn progression fantasy. And when I say slow, I actually mean it. Zeldryn isn't going to figure everything out in twenty chapters and suddenly start beating the shit out of people twice his level. A protagonist who genuinely starts from zero. Not "zero" as in a weak swordsman who somehow already knows how the entire world works. I mean actual zero. Zeldryn has to learn what mana is, how people use it, how society works, how nobles behave, how combat works, and a whole lot of other shit from the ground up. A lot of everyday life and detailed worldbuilding. Food, money, calendars, noble customs, cities, languages, writing systems, social rules, random little details, and things that might look unimportant at first. I want this world to feel like an actual place people live in, not just a giant background for the protagonist to farm EXP. The world does not revolve around Zeldryn. Kingdoms don't freeze because he's busy training. Nobles keep making moves. People have relationships, ambitions, problems, and conflicts of their own. Things can happen hundreds of miles away without Zeldryn even knowing about them. Power progression that actually takes time. Zeldryn has to experiment, fail, misunderstand things, get hurt, ask questions, train, and slowly figure out what the hell he's doing. New abilities aren't supposed to appear just because the plot needs something cool. A magic system that gets explored properly. Mana has rules, limits, risks, techniques, weird exceptions, and plenty of things Zeldryn doesn't understand yet. And the deeper he goes, the more complicated that shit becomes. Different fighting styles, weapons, abilities, and ways of using power. A higher level doesn't automatically mean someone wins every fight. Experience, technique, compatibility, preparation, environment, and plain old human stupidity can matter too. Noble families, politics, social hierarchy, ambition, greed, loyalty, hatred, and people being people. Not every conflict has some ancient demon behind it. Sometimes humans are perfectly capable of making everything worse by themselves. Long-term consequences. Something that happens now might still matter hundreds or even thousands of chapters later. Decisions don't magically disappear because an arc ended. Mysteries and long-term foreshadowing. Some questions will be answered quickly. Some won't. Some things might sit quietly in the background for a very, very long time before they finally become important. Romance and multiple heroines, but slowly. I'm not planning to throw women at Zeldryn just because he's the protagonist. Relationships are supposed to develop through time, interaction, conflict, trust, attraction, and actual shared experiences. A big cast with lives of their own. Characters don't stop existing when Zeldryn leaves the room. Some of them will have their own goals, relationships, problems, victories, disasters, and stories happening far away from him. A world that keeps getting bigger. The story starts small on purpose. A mansion. A few people. Basic questions. Basic problems. Then the walls slowly come down and the story opens into regions, cities, nations, cultures, history, politics, wars, and whatever other insanity is waiting out there. Extra worldbuilding stuff. Character illustrations, biographies, maps, calendars, currencies, alphabets, and other material whenever I feel like the world needs it. A lot of interconnected arcs and volumes. Some will be quiet. Some will focus on training. Some on relationships, mystery, politics, exploration, family problems, or massive conflicts. Not every arc needs the fate of the fucking world hanging in the balance. This story is meant to be ridiculously long. I'm talking thousands of chapters if everything keeps going as planned, and potentially even tens of thousands. I'm not trying to sprint toward some final boss. I want to follow Zeldryn through a huge portion of his life and watch the world grow and change around him. This is not a fast-paced power fantasy. The slow pace is intentional. If Chapter 50 still feels like the beginning, that's because it fucking is.
